Transcript PwC’s 29th Global CEO Survey Launch On 19 January, we launched the findings of our 29th Global CEO Survey in Davos. CEOs expect more pressure over the next three years than they experienced over the previous five from technology, climate change and nearly every other megatrend affecting global business. Mohamed KandePwC Global Chairman Leveraging Generative AI for Job Augmentation and Workforce Productivity As the capabilities of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) continue to evolve, organisations are wondering how they can use it to drive job augmentation and workforce productivity, and the actions they can take to harness its full potential. To find out, the World Economic Forum and PwC developed a piece of research focusing on how early adopters of GenAI are leveraging it across the workforce, the impact it is having and the lessons they have learned along the way. Based on interviews with more than 20 organisations across a wide range of industries and geographies, we found that successful deployment of GenAI depends as much, or more, on people than the technology itself.

How AI is Changing Early Careers: A View from Entry Level Workers  As AI reshapes how work is done, entry-level roles are changing first. This executive briefing, developed with the World Economic Forum, explores how entry-level workers view the impact of AI on their jobs and career prospects. Drawing on PwC’s Global Workforce Hopes and Fears Survey 2025, one of the largest surveys of entry-level workers globally, the paper highlights emerging optimism, uncertainty around skills relevance, and gaps between worker and business leader expectations.
